The 2023 Canterbury Selector panels for both the men’s and women’s teams have now been appointed, these are as follows:
We are excited to welcome to the men’s panel Gary Gillard who will join John Rademakers and Matt McLean who will continue in their positions from the previous year. Gary who is familiar with the local men's Canterbury golfing scene as a previous interclub player and Canterbury trialist will bring to the position a good background in representative sports involvement through his background as both an NZ Snooker player, coach, and selector. Alongside John and Matt, the panel will oversee the team selections for the following events during 2023:

In the women’s space, we welcome both Cheryl and Pam to the roles. Cheryl is an active golfer and brings to the position a wealth of representative experience again as a player and selector whilst also bringing a sports management background as the current Canterbury Softball CEO. Pam Ellis is a very familiar face in the women’s golf scene as a former Canterbury Masters rep, Pollock Cup player, past women’s committee president, and Canterbury Golf Life member. The pair will bring some great experience to the panel and will oversee the team selections for the following events during 2023:
