2023 Town vs Country

Amberly TvsC The annual Town vs Country fixture was played at Amberly Golf Club yesterday. With some initial showers soon passing, the day was played in brisk but fine conditions with the course in good shape.   With the event being played in a new trial format in 2023 the opening qualifying round commenced with a shotgun start at 8am with 4-man groupings scattered across the course. With over a hundred people from the Canterbury Golf community in attendance a great evening was held celebrating not only the previous seasons player on-field performances but also importantly the opportunity was taken to recognise those that have given so much to the game locally over many years. This new role will be the senior employment position within Canterbury Golf and will report directly to the Executive.
