21 teams from around the Canterbury region competed in the 2018 National Women's Teams District Final at Waitikiri on Friday in fine but cool conditions and the course in great order considering the recent wet weather.
The Russley team pictured from left, Jeanette Treacy, Shera Kant, Margaret Ham and Ann Garden won the Distict Final with a pairs four ball net score of 138 one shot clear of Kaiapoi on 139 and Charteris Bay on 142.
Russley’s 11.4 under course rating will now compete against all other district winners for the National title.
