Canterbury Golf would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge Ian Donaldson who has decided to step down from the position of Men’s Convenor of Selectors.
Ian has held the position for the last 8 years making an invaluable contribution to Canterbury Representative golf putting in countless hours of dedication and professionalism to undertake the role over such a long period of time. One of the undoubted highlights during his tenure was of course overseeing the 2020 Men’s NZ Interprovincial victory to go alongside the numerous South Island Interprovincial titles that have been achieved over the men’s, master’s, and junior’s spaces. We are sure too that there will be many players who will be appreciative of his trust in them to represent the red and black over the years. Ian’s contributions were recognized at last year’s Canterbury Golf Annual Awards evening where he was awarded his distinguished service award. Canterbury Golf would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Ian for all his work.
