What a Sunday for Canterbury Golf! Three events running across the region today, with our golfing community showing up in force ⛳️
Over 40 women joined us at Harewood for our second She Loves Golf Winter Series session, 46 players competed at Ellesmere in the Canterbury vs Aorangi Development Day, and 81 teed it up at Weedons for the Men’s Champion of Champions.
Matt and Waimairi Beach member Shane Whooley took on one of the toughest holes at Waimairi Beach - the par three #12. Watch how they played it!
With 4BBB coming up on 14th June, it could be your turn. How will you and your partner tackle it? Strategy, nerve, or hit and hope?

We attended the Pegasus residents meeting on Tuesday night and the turnout and energy in that room, spoke for itself. We are here in support of this community and committed to helping protect the premier golf course and facilities that serve current and future generations in Pegasus.
The Pegasus Residents Association has initiated a petition to Parliament in response to the proposed fast-track redevelopment of the golf course. If you want to add your voice in support, follow the link below for the petition.

18 Hole Division – Open to boys and girls under 19 with a Handicap Index of 36.4 or lower.
9 Hole Division – Open to all junior golfers, including non-handicap players.
Entry Fees:
• 18 Holes – $20
• 9 Holes – $10
Play in both events and you'll be in the running for additional prizes, with awards for the best combined Stableford scores across the two tournaments.

Clearwater were the undisputed stars of the women’s interclub season, claiming all four titles: Women’s Silver, 18-Hole 6’s, 18-Hole 4’s, and Women’s Weekend. And several finals went to playoffs!
In the 9-Hole competitions, Rangiora won a thriller against Avondale in the Mixed Match Play, while Tai Tapu edged Russley 73–71 in the Stableford final.
