Thanks to everyone who supported the Ultimate Golf Raffle, we’re proud to see the “Back your club”$5,000 prize go to Christchurch Golf Club - with the funds set to make a real impact.
For the past four years, member Murray Turnbull has been running free coaching sessions for kids at Christchurch, helping young players learn the game and build confidence with a club in their hands.
The raffle contribution will go straight into growing this programme, with plans for more equipment, more opportunities, and the potential for school holiday coaching sessions.
Huge credit to Murray for the time and passion he’s put into the next generation, and to everyone who bought a ticket and helped make this possible.

There’s more to golf than what happens on the fairway and behind several of our Canterbury Golf events and Interclub competitions is a team of referees helping make the right calls.
The Canterbury Golf Referees Association is running upcoming Rules & Referee courses, perfect for anyone interested in the officiating side of the game or wanting to build their knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
If you enjoy the technical side of the sport, or want to give back to the game in a different way, this could be for you.
