South Island Age Group Interprovincial - 28-29 October 2023, Venue TBC
Eligibility for Selection:
- Players must be under 19 years of age as at 28 October 2023
- Players must be a financial full playing member whose home club is within Canterbury
- Players must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a New Zealand residency
Selection Criteria:
- Performances at Junior Order of Merit Events
- Performances at the South Island Stroke Play, Canterbury Secondary Schools Tournament and New Zealand Stroke Play
- Performances displayed in previous Canterbury Representative Teams
- Results from events played outside of Canterbury
- Suitability of the individuals game for the competitive venue
- The player's attitude and conduct on and off the course
- The ability for an athlete to fit into a team environment and act cooperatively
- The player's fitness levels
- Desire and committment to represent Canterbury
- Any discipline issues
Boys Interprovincial 2 - 6 October 2023, Cambridge Golf Club
Event:
Canterbury have been invited to play along with 9 other districts (which includes 8 North Island districts) in the Boys Interprovincial. The team is made up of four Under 19 players and two Under 16 players.
Eligibility for Selection:
- Players must be under 19 years of age as at 2 October 2023
- Players must be a financial full playing member whose home club is within Canterbury
- Players must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a New Zealand residency
Selection Criteria:
The Canterbury team will be selected for the Boys Interprovincial taking into account the following, it is recommended that players play in as many as possible:
- Various Canterbury Junior Future Open Events
- South Island Age Group Championships 18 - 20 April, Ashburton Golf Club
- Canterbury Eagles Tournament (U17 players) 11 July - Waimairi Beach Golf Club
- Town v's Country match (selected players) 27 August - Amberly Golf Club
- NZ Age Group Championship 30 August - 1 September - Timaru Golf Club
- Canterbury vs Aorangi Rep Fixture (selected players) 17 September, Ashburton Golf Club
- Interclub results (players are strongly recommended to be playing Interclub)

Girls Interprovincial 2 - 6 October 2023, Rotorua Golf Club
Event:
Each district in New Zealand is invited to send a team for the Girls Interprovincial, each team is made up of 6 girls. The format is match play, the top three players play off the stick and the second three players play handicap match play with strokes given.
Eligibility for Selection:
- Players must be under 21 years of age as at 2 October 2023
- Players must be a financial full playing member whose home club is within Canterbury
- Players must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a New Zealand residency
- Comply with the NZ Golf Anti Doping Policy
- Comply with the Canterbury Golf Representative Code of Conduct.
Selection Criteria:
The Canterbury team will be selected for the Girls Interprovincial taking into account the following, it is recommended that players play in as many as possible:
- Various Canterbury Junior Future Open Events
- South Island Age Group Championships 18 - 20 April, Ashburton Golf Club

Code of Conduct
Canterbury Representative Players must sign a Canterbury Golf Representative Code of Conduct Agreement and return it to the Coaching and Development Manager by the specified date. In signing the agreement the player agrees to abide by the code and acknowledges that failure to do so may result in removal from the representative team.
