Canterbury Golf would like to acknowledge the passing of Jim Mangnall on Thursday October 24 in his 89th year.
Jim was the secretary of the Canterbury Golf Association for a number of years in the late 1990’s and early 2000s. Jim also was employed at both Waitikiri and Avondale Golf Clubs as a Manager in the later years of his working life. He was a member at Harewood Golf Club, before joining Waimakariri Gorge from around 1990 when he moved to Oxford, and finally Greendale Golf Club when he moved to live there in 2012. He continued to play at Greendale until about 12 months ago.
A private cremation has already been held.
