Pollock Cup visited picturesque Hororata yesterday for the final round where the weather was warm and the course in great condition.
Clearwater faced Harewood in the first match of the round comfortably winning 4-2 with convincing wins to Amelia Garvey, Rachel Eder, Di Kay and Julie Battersby while Anne Dick and Pam McTaggart had wins for Harewood.

The Final round of Simon Cup was played at Christchurch Golf Club yesterday in warm, windy conditions and the course in great order. Teams were vying for Semi-Final spots on 1 November at Coringa Golf Club, and the Roy Mitchell Salver was also on the line for the best performed player over the past nine rounds.
Christchurch will play Avondale and Russley will play Waitikiri to decide who will meet in the Simon Cup Final on Finals Day, 8 November at Waitikiri Golf Club.

The Annual Millennium Trophy Match between Canterbury and Aorangi Women was played at Tinwald Golf Club yesterday in warm, calm conditions and the course in great order.
Aorangi again proved too strong for Canterbury winning the match 719 - 660. Aorangi averaged 35.95 stableford points per player compared with Canterbury's 33. There were some great individual scores in both teams ... next year will be Canterbury's year!

The Canterbury Men's Masters Team came through the weekend unbeaten at the South Island Interprovincial. The match involved all five South Island provinces, with the six man teams battling it out at the North Otago Golf Club over four rounds of match play.

Rounds six and seven of the 2020 Woodward Cup were held at Templeton Golf Club in fine but very windy conditions. All matches were able to be completed and there were some interesting results.
Round 6
In the morning a close match was expected between Avondale and Waitikiri and so it was with a 4-4 draw. Four matches went to the 18th hole with Leith Campion and Aaron Forysth halving, as did Jack Holmes and Simon Marshall. A windy day at Waitikiri presented challenging conditions, but did not deter some players who returned excellent results for their teams. With one round to go, Pegasus has gone to top of the table with a two point lead following the 6-0 defeat of Christchurch. Decisive wins by Momoka Kobori, Deanna Matthews and Amy Weng spearheaded the Pegasus victory.
With Waitikiri's players number four, five and six securing early wins over Harewood, the final result hinged on the top three matches where Harewood came home with three more wins to tie up the round for a half at three matches apiece.
